GLASSES OR CONTACTS
Presumably, you don't want to wear glasses or contacts.
Some patients don't mind wearing contacts but are contact
lens intolerant (too uncomfortable). Some people are
not aware of the newer options in contact lenses such
as bifocals and torics (correct for astigmatism). In
terms of eye safety, nothing can substitute for a pair
of glasses. People who don't wear glasses (after LASIK
or other refractive surgery) or those who wear contacts,
must always be careful about eye trauma. Safety glasses
for home improvement- type activities and contact sports
are a must for everyone. Of all the available options
of vision correction, glasses and contacts are arguably
the safest, though not always the most convenient.
